For our Standard 7 class of 2026, that moment arrived on the morning of Thursday, 21st August 2026.
On that day, our Standard 7 learners, the pride of Glody Dube International School, attended the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) Exam Seminar, a specially organised event designed to prepare them mentally, academically, and emotionally for the national examinations that lie ahead.
These are not just students. These are young leaders, thinkers, and dreamers who have walked the corridors of Glody Dube International School and grown into the confident, capable individuals we see today. This seminar was their next step.Teachers provided structured guidance to help learners approach their examinations with confidence and discipline, while parents received helpful advice on supporting their children during exam season.
What Is the PSLE and Why Does It Matter?
The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) is the national examination administered by the Botswana Ministry of Child Welfare & Basic Education at the end of Standard 7. It marks the culmination of a learner's primary school education and serves as the gateway to secondary school.
At Glody Dube International School, we follow the Botswana Government PSLE curriculum in full, ensuring that every child who walks through our doors is not just taught, but truly prepared. From Standard 1 through to Standard 7, our learners are guided through a structured, high-quality academic programme that builds literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills year by year.

The PSLE Exam Seminar - What Happened on 21st August 2026
